Welcome to the Castle D’Ursel, one of the most beatiful buildings of Belgium, placed in a exceptional nature site.

Here, from 18th to 25th March 2012, you will enjoy a unique experience, attending the Primavera Pianistica 2012.

In the main hall, selected students will participate in a public concerts, playing the great Steinway Piano of the Castle.

Great Piano Masters, and more than 50 students from many different countries, will create a perfect environment for practise, learn and share your musical life.

Application
The deadline for receiving applications, filled and signed, is January 31st, 2012.
As the number of participants is limited, applications will be processed in the order in which they arrive. Applications have to be sent by e-mail

Conditions of participation
There is no age limit for attending the master classes.
Each student will receive 3 lessons, each one from a different professor. In the application form you can fill in your preferences. The assignments students-professor will be processed in order of arrival of the application forms.
The participation in the concerts depends on the recommendation of the professors.
The schedule of the lessons will be send by email to the students 1 week before the beginning of the course.
All the lessons are open to the attendance of the active and passive students.

Fees
The fee is:
Active students: 450€ (including 150€ of application fee)
Duos: 870€ (including application fee)
Passive students: 125€

Accomodation
The students will be hosted in a Youth Hostel, called Het Laathof, located in the proximity of the Castle d’Ursel. The accomodaton fee for 2012 is: 244,15€
The price includes 6 nights of staying, and three meals per day (breakfast, lunch and dinner).

The payment must be done together with the fee of the course to the Primavera Pianistica organization. Otherwise the student has to arrange his-her accomodation by him-herself.

It is possible to pay the whole amounts at once or pay a deposit of 150€ for the application fee and 100€ for the accommodation. The rest of the fee must be paid the day before of the starting of the lessons at the Primavera Pianistica Office located at the Het Laathof.

The payments will be not refunded in case of cancellation

Registration
It is recommended to register in the Castle d’Ursel on the day before the classes start. The students will then receive their practice schedule and further information.

To Anvers (named also Antwerpen or Amberes) from abroad:

By plane:
The closest international airport are (in this order):
Brussels International Airport
Charleroi International Airport
Liege International Airport
Rotterdam International Airport
Amsterdam International Airport

By train:
From the major cities in Belgium and The Nederlands you can easily arrive by train to Anvers (named also as Amberes or Antwerpen).

To the Castle d’Ursel from Anvers

You must take, from Anvers Central Station, a train to Bornem.

In Bornem you may take the bus number 257, direction Boom R.M.S.
Hingene Kerk is the third stop, although ask the driver to be completely sure you go down where the Castle d’Ursel is!
